Milan, April 18-22. SafeCOP, the new European project for IBT Solutions has just finished his one-week kick-off. More than 40 delegates from all over Europe met to discuss how to best start, to share expectations and workload. It has been a full and intense week for all, where hard work and meaningful discussions coexisted with fun moments, cooking classes risotto-based and gala dinner in a spectacular venue in the center of Milan. IBT is grateful to be part of this working group and looks forward to achieving great results with this project.
SafeCOP, Safe Cooperating Cyber-Physical Systems using Wireless Communication, is a project that will establish a safety assurance approach, a platform architecture, and tools for cost-efficient and practical certification of cooperating cyber-physical systems (CO-CPS). IBT will work on the automotive use case together with other Italian partners (Ro Technology, Politecnico of Milan, University of L’Aquila, Thales Italy, AITEK, Impara, CNR-IEIIT, Intecs). The aim is to design a platform to integrate inertial sensors, communicate and perform feature extraction, thus supporting privacy, security and driving analysis in critical conditions.
